Mission Workplace Consulting was started in 2020 with the goal to support employers manage their workplace compliance, particularly with regards to labour related matters and emergency planning. If there was every a good time for employers to turn their attention to these concerns it is 2020. Businesses already have to consider so many areas of compliance in the day to day operations. The impact of a global pandemic and economic downturn only adds to that complexity.

Many small to medium size companies do not have the benefit of an internal human resources department, an occupational health and safety department, or training department. These companies are still required to respond to complaints from employees, conduct internal investigations, develop policies and procedures and manage emergency situations. In addition, they have to manage a business disruption or closure and interact with Provincial Regulators, such as Occupational Health and Safety and Employment Standards.
